About

Benjamin Joseph Thomas

(Hence BenJoeTom)

Government and Education Coordinator at Danvers Community Access TV (June 2015 to Present)

I have dedicated my life to video production. Since I was a small child, I have been obsessed with film, and started to explore the art of storytelling through the creation of visual media.

I feel extremely comfortable and confident in any studio, field, or other production situation, and know how to adapt to problems that may arise in live and taped productions.

I have won multiple awards for my work, including Best Editing, Best Use of Prop, Best Use of Genre and Best Score at the 2019 Boston 48 Hour Film Project for my short film Balut. The film was also nominated for Best Director, Best Cinematography and Best Sound.

I spend most of my time outside of work following baseball and watching movies. Lots of movies. (My favorites are La La Land, The Social Network and The Graduate.)
